I joined Okubo Seisakusho in June of this year, about a month after our chance encounter at the Nara Cub Meeting in May 2025.
I got an invite saying, “Come to the ‘Yamamaruto Bike Meeting’ like a fan appreciation event at Nara Cub!” but before I knew it, I was on the organizing side. I panicked.
In the morning, while making final preparations right before the event, I found myself thinking, “I’m getting nervous… My stomach… hurts… maybe?” But when I heard the sound of the first group of participants’ bikes approaching, I suddenly felt excited, and the stomachache vanished completely!!

I was so glad to see that there were two people using the Wandem Bike Pet Carrier. I was so happy to chat with a woman around my age who rides a Super Cub C125. I was delighted to see people customizing their bikes with event- limited items to make them look cute, and above all, it made me very happy to see the participants themselves having such a good time. Learning that some people carry stickers of their beloved motorcycles instead of their business cards, I felt their deep affection for their own motorcycles. I had a wonderful time filled with emotion and a deep love for motorcycles.

For the transfer to the second venue, only the president and I were on motorcycles among the employees.
(Hey everyone, why not join us for riding a motorcycle? Our company motorcycle club is recruiting new members!)
After watching everyone depart with the president leading the way, I ran at the end of the line.
By the way, the day before was the first time I rode a motorcycle to the venue by myself! “Am I okay because I am pretty bad sense of directions?” I thought to myself as I left, and I was relieved to finally arrived safely!
When I arrived at the venue, a large number of participants had already parked their motorcycles. I was so relieved and moved due to seeing the crowd that I almost cried.(😿)
Did any participants get lost on the way? Did anyone experience slips or such? Although I had such concerns, I was relieved to see everyone enjoying themselves and the lively atmosphere at the merchandise tents.

I was really looking forward to the food at the kitchen car, but the curry was sold out…How was the curry who got to try it? I really wanted to eat it too…
I ate pizza! Two slices! If I’d had more room, I would have eaten more.

“Let’s eat while I can!” while I was eating pizza, but then the bingo game started. Looking at the prizes again, I felt an overwhelming urge to join in too! Did you get the prize you wanted? If you didn’t get it, be sure to join on the “Shiso City Roadside Station Tour”! There are plenty of roadside stations at just the right distance for day trips! (Coming all the way to Shiso City is not easy, right?)

If everyone enjoyed the food, the socializing, and the bingo game at this Yamamaruto Bike Meeting event, then I was glad I kept moving my body and mind (in a bad way) without really knowing why! Next year, I plan to work hard this year so that at least my body can move more energetically.
By the way
My parents were visiting at this event.
They seemed to have gotten completely lost on their way to the venue.
I had explained the route to some extent the day before. It seems that having a bad sense of direction is inherited.
